Bobbie Hander is in her first year as the head cheer coach at Grayson. She is in her 11th year coaching, spending all that time at the former B. McDaniel Middle School until they transitioned to Henry Scott Middle School all in Denison ISD.  

She still coaches and teaches at Henry Scott Middle School and is in her 16th year of teaching all in Denison. At Henry Scott, Hander serves as acting department head, a mentor teacher and teachers Honors 8th Grade ELAR. She also co-sponsors Scott Scholars.

Coach Hander is an alumnus of Grayson College, receiving her Associates Degree from here. She has her Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Science and Technology from Texas A&M Commerce. Coach Hander received her Masters of Education in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, and a Masters in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. 

When she's not teaching or coaching, she enjoys helping her husband with the family ranch in Oklahoma, supporting the Denison Yellow Jacket and Grayson Viking sports teams, reading and living on to-do lists. "I love having a plan and knowing what needs to be done." 

Coach Hander has two children, who she says is the greatest award she has ever received. She has been blessed with three step children, a step daughter-in-law, and grandson.
